Can Pipe Flow 3D be used with very long pipes (e.g. length around 2000m and more)?

Answer: |
Pipe Flow 3D can be used with long pipe lengths. The actual length of the pipe may be entered by the user. The pipe length does not need to be the same as the grid length.
The pipe length can be set to any value you require. Where pipe lengths need to be longer than the apparent size on the grid the pipe is shown with a small break towards one end.
To amend a pipe length:
Select a pipe.
Choose 'Amend pipe length' from the pop-up menu which appears with a right click.
Enter a new actual length.
Click OK and accept the confirmation message that this is the length required.
The pressure drop will be re-calculated using the new actual length.
